Overview
E.T. DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) platform serves as the infrastructure layer , providing an executional environment and support for various SubDAOs. It is responsible for managing user onboarding, identity verification, and interaction coordination across different SubDAOs. Users can also create new SubDAOs directly on this platform.
Functions
User Management
Handles registration, login, and permission assignments to ensure that only authorized individuals can participate in DAO activities.
Users must undergo the platform’s verification process—potentially including identity checks and cryptographic key generation—before becoming an Actor/Creator and engaging with DAOs.
SubDAO Creation and Configuration
Offers tools and templates to streamline the creation of new SubDAOs.
During creation, creators can define DAO rules, governance structures, voting mechanisms, . For instance,
ExplorerDAOmay allocate voting rights based on token holdings, whereasFictionDAOcould employ a different decision-making framework.
Governance & Coordination
Serves as an intermediary layer for transmitting information and managing interactions between Actors and various SubDAOs.
Ensures data consistency and security. For example, when an Actor submits a proposal on the DAO Platform, the platform accurately relays the proposal to the relevant SubDAO, and tracks its status and outcome.
Resource Allocation
Based on the DAO’s decisions, manages the allocation of funding, personnel, and technical resources. For instance, if
E.T. DAOapproves a new alien-themed online event, it may assign a specific budget for event planning, promotional activities, and participant rewards.
Interaction with DAO Agent
Actor-Initiated Actions: Allows an actor to propose initiatives, launch discussions, start crowdfunding campaigns, or submit petitions.
Protocol Agent Calls: Enables the Protocol Agent to invoke the DAO Agent for reading and analyzing discussion content; initiating proposals, discussions, crowdfunding, or petitions.
All of the agents are developed under
E.T. OS.
